🕺💃 When I'm not in the lab, you'll find me twirling on the dance floor or sketching masterpieces! 🎨 My taste buds do the samba for sushi 🍣, and my playlist? It's a time-traveling music machine, grooving from Ziggy Stardust to the Strokes' latest hits! 🎵🚀

Research Topic:

The research that I am focused on this semester, with the direction of my mentor Jodi, revolves around if increased activity of a protease, specifically MMP-14, will occur within senescent cells as compared to cells that do not exhibit cellular senescence. With this increase, it could provide information on whether or not there is a correlation between a higher number of senescent cells within the body and a higher prevalence of cancer development.
