Topic: Nanoparticle-Based Detection of Low Abundant Cellular Senescence Markers Via Mass Cytometry (Funded by NIH Autophagy Grant)

" My research project is focused on increasing mass cytometry sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Specifically, I am using lanthanide nanoparticles to label antibodies that target senescent (cells that no longer replicate) biomarkers, which are typically low in abundance. Should this project find success, a more accurate description of senescence in mixed cell populations can be obtained "
